I tried Stitch Fix for the first time last summer and was surprised with how much I enjoyed trying it! Then my husband tried it and he even enjoyed it. Because it’s an occasional splurge for us, I originally wasn’t sure if I would hop on board to try Stitch Fix for Kids.
I thought that would be fun to get a few items personalized to my children’s style and interests. I thought it would be fun to fill out the style profile for my girls. While I see the convenience for a mom who may not have as much shopping time, I thought that it would be too much of a splurge for us.
Then I thought about back-to-school shopping for my 7-year old. Her clothing matters more now that she is heading off to school. I find it time-consuming to find specific items that match the school’s dress code. It’s not always easy to find the right pants! It takes much time and energy to find reasonably priced items that fit the rules and are also items she is excited about.
So I guess I do want to try Stitch Fix for Kids!
UPDATE: I ordered my daughter her first Fix just in time for Back-to-School. We both loved many of the items we received and we kept three shirts!
The prices range from just $10 – $35 per item, so I figured I would put in a request for the exact style of pants we need. I started her profile. It’s fun to share a little about what she loves and her personality and I’m excited to see what items they pick for her!

- **Add a note! I will note that I want items perfect for school.
- Select your delivery date. (There is a $20 styling fee. If you keep anything in the box, the $20 will be credited towards the items you keep.)
- Get the box and have your kiddos try on the clothing!
- Decide what to keep and send everything else back. (They include a prepaid bag for shipping the items back! Way more convenient than my Target returns.)

Okay? But did you like what she got? You don’t mention or have a link to where you say how the Fix ended up working out?

I just requested her Fix this week! There seems to be quite the demand for Stitch Fix for Kids (as it just started) and so her Fix isn’t scheduled until August. It will still be here before school starts, so I’m OK with that. I’ll update on what she got and what I thought once we have the clothing in hand!
