I have an attachment to the Sunday paper. Yes, the print edition. I don’t subscribe to the daily newspaper any other day of the week. I would feel the need/obligation to read it every day, when realistically it won’t fit into my day. And it saves money to go online to skim the headlines.
Sunday paper? I love it. I must spend time in each section of the paper and have been known to be finishing up with the Business section (one of my favs!) late into the week. As long as I can get it all read by the time the next week’s edition shows up on my doorstep!
So this early morning, I’m not worrying about my to-do list. I’m having a relaxing morning with coffee and the paper. Do I feel I deserve the reward of a lazy early morning because of all my past early morning productivity? It’s not about what I DESERVE. It’s just about balancing it all out.
Getting up early and scheduling out the time for maximum productivity can be important. But do remember to give yourself some wiggle room for life’s joys.
Off to peruse the travel section…
