How to Save on Amazon Prime

Are you coming across Prime Day deals, only to have the price on Amazon Prime hold you back? I am going to share with you today how to save when signing up for Amazon Prime.

Signing up through the ibotta app results in a $10 cash back bonus from ibotta and a $20 Amazon gift card from ibotta! Plus there is opportunity for an additional $10 Amazon credit.

How can you actually save when signing up for Prime Day? (Even if you are not new to Amazon Prime, you still have ways to get cash. More details at the end of this post.)

I was looking through my ibotta savings app and realized if you sign up for 1 year of Amazon Prime, you get a $20 Amazon gift card from ibotta! (excludes existing Prime member, renewals, monthly subscriptions, and Prime student subscriptions)

Ibotta is my favorite savings app and I have received $758.50 in cash back from the app. Yes…over $750! I used to use more apps while shopping for groceries, but it just got too time-consuming and I found myself staring at my phone instead of chatting with my children. • Sign up for ibotta and receive a $10 bonus when you redeem your first offer. 
• Search for the Amazon Prime deal when in the ibotta app. Sign up for Prime through the app to get the $20 Amazon gift card. You do not need to be new to ibotta to redeem this deal, but you must be new to Amazon Prime. (There is a pending period, so read all the details on the offer.)

After signing up for Prime, I was surprised to get an e-mail offering an additional $10 Amazon credit for signing into the Amazon Shopping app! 

Get a FREE $10 Amazon credit when you download and sign in to the Amazon Shopping app for the first time. This $10 credit is valid for both new and existing Prime members if you have never signed into the Amazon Shopping app before. (Then track the Prime Day deals in the app!)

The $10 credit is good on any $20 in-app purchase.

After you sign up for Amazon Prime, browse around the ibotta app. I have used the ibotta app at Target, Whole Foods, Hy-Vee, Groupon, Amazon, Walgreens, Thrive Market, and more.
