Mother’s Day is around the corner so I thought I would share a few Mother’s Day Gift Ideas with you. This year especially you may have to get creative if you are not physically with your mom. Take advantage of gifts you can get sent directly to her. You can still make her feel special by sending something you know she will love!
Backpacks
I find that a backpack makes day trips with the kids much easier! Here are two stylish options.
Vintage Vegan Leather Backpack (there is also a black option)
Pink Vintage Daypack (also available in other colors)
WINE
Send mom some wine! You can save with this link.
Books
Pick out a book to encourage her in her motherhood journey!
Loving the Little Years by Rachel Jankovic (One of my favorite sleep-deprived mama stories is in this book. It’s hilarious!)
Bringing Up Boys by James Dobson
Bringing Up Girls: Practical Advice and Encouragement for Those Shaping the Next Generation of Women by James Dobson
Grumpy Mom Takes a Holiday: Say Goodbye to Stressed, Tired, and Anxious, and Say Hello to Renewed Joy in Motherhood. This book is full of both encouragement and truth for moms!
Get the mom in your life a beautiful journal (many are prayer journals) from Val Marie Paper (created by the author of Grumpy Mom Takes a Holiday).
Val Marie Paper gift cards are also available.
Bringing Up Bébé: One American Mother Discovers the Wisdom of French Parenting (now with Bébé Day by Day: 100 Keys to French Parenting) by Pamela Druckerman. This one is just plain fun.
Or just sign her up for Amazon Prime so she can order her own books whenever she wants. Shop Amazon – Give the Gift of Amazon Prime.
Prints
Hello Joy (formerly French Press Mornings) has beautiful & encouraging prints. Bonus: there is a free option. Every Wednesday there is a free 4X6 print to download. All you have to do is buy a frame and you have a very inexpensive gift! Encouraging Wednesdays free prints.
If you want a specific print (other than the free one), there are many other options available in the Hello Joy shop. There are notepads, coffee mugs, and more!
Stitch Fix Gift Card – You can now get $50 free credit (instead of the usual $25) from Stitch Fix!!
Stacking Rings
I found these stacking rings from Lisa Leonard Designs and thought they would be the perfect gift. If mom has more kiddos in the future, it’s easy to add another ring. There were many other gift options available.
write the word journals
There are journals, accessories, and so many other great products from Cultivate What Matters.
Photo book or Calendar
One of my favorite gifts to give is a photo book or calendar. After my parents took us on a trip out west, I made a photobook for my mom. I loved the book so much, that I got one for myself too. It does take work, but it’s the perfect way to capture a memorable trip or special relationship.
The book above was made by picaboo. I usually purchase my photo books, calendars, and other photo gifts through groupon.com. You will have more variety in the photo products when purchasing directly from the photo company, but it’s typically less expensive to purchase through Groupon.com. I have been happy going that route.
Emily Ley Daily or Weekly Simplified Planner
Emily Ley has beautiful planners available, but there is also so much more: Weekly Simplified Planner, Dapperdesk leather planner, Planner Bundles, A Simplified Life (book), Grace Not Perfection (book), Planner Accessories (including new pencil pouches and notebooks), Organizational Tools (journals, notebooks, recipe binders, baby books + more), Prints, and more.
New Emily Ley customers only: $10 OFF with this link.
Check out the Planner Bundles here.
Plants
I know I would enjoy getting a plant in the mail! Here are a few fun options from Amazon.
ZZ Plant with White-Natural Décor Planter
Clean Air 3-Pack House Plant Collection with White Decor Planter
My husband once made fun of me for buying a “palm tree” for our home, but I enjoyed it. :) This one is pretty and ships with a planter. 3 to 4-foot tall Palm Tree.
TRAMPOLINE
A trampoline? Strange idea? Maybe. But a kid that is entertained for hours makes for a happy mom, right?
Coloring Books
I keep coming across coloring books for adults and I must say they look like fun. When I first starting coloring with my girl, I was surprised at how relaxing and calming it can be! I even buy her color crayons based on the colors that I want. Ha! So here are a few coloring books that mom might like. A new kind of stress-relief!
Flower Designs Coloring Book (Volume 1)
Adult Coloring Book: Stress Relieving Patterns
Just don’t forget to buy her new coloring pencils.
What is your favorite Mother’s Day gift?

Those coloring books are really neat! And you found such pretty prints; great idea to find a freebie and put it in a frame.
admin says
I personally don’t like having a large sum of money spent on me, so I thought the freebie in a frame was a decent idea for cheap.

Don’t worry, I’ve already sent the link to my husband ;) I’m not usually a jewelry person, but those rings and necklace are both appealing to me today! Maybe because they are so low-kay. And I always love a good journal!

I thought the jewelry was simple & pretty. Let me know if your husband picks any of the items!

Hey there, thanks for sharing these great gift ideas at Good Morning Mondays. I am particularly interested in the colouring book, I enjoy doing that too :-). Even though it is a bit early I have just ordered a journaling Bible and pens for mothers day. The family always ask me what I would like and they find it easier if they have guidance. The little ones will probably do something special which is just lovely. Thanks again and blessings

I have been hearing about Bible journaling. I’ll be curious what you think!
