If you are motivated to get started on Spring Cleaning, I have a 30 Day Spring Cleaning printable for you. Updated in 2021: there are now 3 different designs!
Here is how it works: There are 5 days of specific tasks to complete, followed by two “Pick Your Project” days. Why did I include the Pick Your Project days? Every house is different and everyone has different priorities so you can decide what you want to spend your weekends on. Or just take the weekends off!
You may want to schedule your Pick Your Project days for your weekend or you may want to pick the weekdays that work best for your schedule.
Here are a few examples for the Pick Your Project days:
- Clean porch
- Clean garage
- Wash & clean out car
- Wash baseboards
- Launder throw pillows & blankets
- Clean vents
- Organize clothing closets & dressers
- More ideas on printable schedule
I have joined cleaning challenges in the past and later found that some of the tasks took hours to complete. I just didn’t have the time (or I wasn’t willing) to set aside so much time every single day for cleaning. So I tried to spread the cleaning out so it didn’t take hours every day.
You will notice that a few cleaning activities are grouped by task instead of by room. I have come across many spring cleaning schedules that list “wash windows” separately under each room. If I am getting out the products to wash windows and I’m in the window washing groove, my preference is to just wash as many windows as I can.

I also wanted to share my favorite new cleaner with you and give you a chance to win a Force of Nature Starter Kit.
While I used to use vinegar for much of my cleaning, it’s not the perfect solution. Enter Force of Nature to turn vinegar into the perfect cleaning solution. This cleaner & disinfectant is as effective as bleach, but so gentle your kids could help you clean. Force of Nature has zero harmful chemicals, residues, or fumes. I have been using Force of Nature for almost half a year now and love it.
It turns tap water, a capsule of salt, and vinegar into a cleaner and disinfectant. Force of Nature is on EPA’s List N, the disinfectants approved for use against Covid-19. Force of Nature is EPA registered for disinfecting and sanitizing hospitals, ICUs, schools (and more!) and kills 99.9% of germs.
Also: using Force of Nature can actually save you money vs typical natural cleaners & disinfectants. Even in the first year when you buy the Starter Kit.
Use my Force of Nature promo codes to save! Use MOMDAY30 get 30% off + free shipping on Starter Kits. Or use MOMDAY40 for 40% off + free shipping on the Extra Value Bundle and Year of Capsules Bundles.

I need to do a spring cleaning so badly. Our printer is put away in a closet somewhere, but I should get it out to print this. It would be really useful. It’s also not that much each day so it doesn’t become overwhelming.
Emily says
I tried to not pack too much into each day. :)
Tiffany @ A Touch of Grace says
This printable is fabulous! We ended up hiring a cleaner to do a deep clean on our house a few weeks ago, but still need to tackle some larger things, like the porch and laundry room.
Emily says
Thank you, Tiffany!
Sometimes the larger projects aren’t fun, but they feel so great once you are done!
Jess @ RoomServiceRequired says

Awesome challenge! I printed off mine and can’t wait til the weather gets a bit warmer to open up the windows and air the house out. Pinning, stumbling and tweeting this. <3

Hi Emily,
I’m your neighbor at Coffee for your Heart today. I am a bit of a clean freak but as I perused your list I saw several things I’ve never even attempted to clean! I feel the urge to start immediately! :)
Rebekah says
I love how you have a doable cleaning task each day so it’s not overwhelming. I will sometimes set aside a whole day for deep cleaning but that can be exhausting. It feels good to accomplish a little each day to make our homes cleaner and more liveable;) Thanks so much for sharing!!
Emily says
Yes, a whole day is exhausting. But it feels so good once you are done all in one day!
Maria says
LOVE this! I do spring cleaning by categories too…windows, carpets, furniture, etc…I feel more accomplished that way. Printing and sharing this printable. Thanks for such a helpful guide, Emily. It’s so great to see you again on #SHINEbloghop this week :)

Great way to break the spring cleaning into doable steps. I like having just one project a day, although I don’t think I can do it all in 30 consecutive days.
Cyndi Jones says
Count me in. I so need to do this. Thanks for providing the motivation.
Kelly says
I’m so disorganized when it comes to cleaning – thanks so much for sharing your organization tips! Love the printable – pinned and tweeted!

Angela @ Setting My Intention says
I tend to do cleaning in spurts and fits. This is so organized! I probably won’t do such a thorough cleaning, but I’ll definitely keep this in mind for the future!
